Four reasons to get insurance with us are:
- You can buy online.
- Almost all other insurers won't provide insurance if you, or someone else living with you, have an unspent conviction.
- Banks and Building Societies require home insurance in order to provide a mortgage.
- If you apply for insurance without disclosing your conviction it will: 1) invalidate your cover, 2) is a further offence, and 3) will almost certainly mean that subsequent claims will not be paid.
If you're unsure about how long you have to tell people about your conviction, please read our FAQ section. For more details about our insurance please read our Summary of Cover document.

UNLOCK - the National Association of Reformed Offenders
We have a good working relationship with UNLOCK the National Association of Reformed Offenders. UNLOCK is a registered charity, governed by a Board of Trustees and funded by donations. It is a unique organisation founded in 1999 by a group of reformed offenders, each of whom, in their own way, successfully rebuilt their lives after serving prison sentences. They claimed no accolade for this, but they rightly claimed experience of the great difficulties faced by those coming out of prison. They have had first hand experience of the many problems faced by former offenders; especially those who genuinely want to "go straight" in a society which always finds it hard to forgive and forget.
