We promise to respect your personal information. We will only request necessary information from you in order to obtain a quotation for household insurance for you. Voyager Insurance Services Ltd are registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 in that Personal Data shall be accurate and, where necessary kept up to date and that appropriate technical and organisational measures are taken against unauthorised or unlawful processing of personal data and against accidental loss or destruction of or damage to personal data.
How we protect customer information
We keep your information confidential and store it on a data server which is password protected. Internal procedures cover the storage, access and disclosure of your information. We use your information only in connection with use of this web site and will not pass your information to any third parties other those set out in the Policy. By submitting your information you consent to us using that information as set out in this policy document.
A customer may properly give his or her spouse or partner's consent over the telephone or via the website provided he confirms that he has permission to do so. If the consent is written, the spouse must independently endorse such consent.

Claims History
Insurers pass information to the Claims and Underwriting Exchange Register, run by Insurance Database Services Ltd (IDS Ltd) and the Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register, run by the Association of British Insurers (ABI). The aim is to help us to check information provided and also to prevent fraudulent claims. When we deal with a request for insurance, we may search these registers.
Under the conditions of your policy, you must tell us about any incident (such as an accident or theft) which may or may not give rise to a claim. When you tell us about an incident, we will pass information relating to it to the registers. We may search these databases when you apply for insurance, in the event of any incident or claim, or at time of renewal to validate your claims history or that of any other person or property likely to be involved in the policy or claim.
Amendment and Retention of information
Please advise us in writing as to any changes in your circumstances. Obviously it is preferable for us to retain up to date information. We will amend details as required. We are however obliged and permitted by law and regulation to retain certain types of data for a minimum period of time. The minimum period of time tends to be for six years but can be longer if the statute or regulation requires.

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will update all relevant documentation and post any changes onto our website so that you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it.
